The next to act was Asun Requena with her performance Zuletina. The Navarrese artist proposed an action with a nuance rooted in her roots. This time it was the folklore of his land in the Masquerade of Zuberoa carnival. For this he chose the inspiration of a dance rooted in the masculine culture being for centuries the only one to dance the man. Requena was a dancer in her youth, but they never let her learn the dance because it was exclusive of men. Only the woman could dance the character of the Cantinera. At the moment it is already danced, but we are speaking of entered the 2000.
In the scenography he changes the hat of the zaldiko (horse) character as a universal sign of respect for his culture, for his mask of Mexican fighter that he has been using since 2011. In it all the women who fight, in her the rural woman and her vindication in art, in it the woman who was in each of the previous performances. The mask is already very heavy and it shows. It is falling apart and Asun faces the misaligned but baroque action, looks at the spectators with a look and abandons them until the end because the only thing that matters is the moment. At this time, change the wine glass traditionally used in the dance for a crown. The action of the dance is divided into three times, two in which the artist does not step on the crown and the last one where she steps on it, marking a great current political symbology in her action. Once again, Requena integrates the audience into the performance, ending the action. The audience applauds the performance furiously. Again the artist uses the audience to complete and measure the current social moment, deifying the performer if it is to her liking or punishing her or treating her crazy if it is not to her liking. Requena is characterized by its risky and political performance, not partisan.
