This week the performance The Path is Made, by Verónica Ruht Frías, took place within the cycle, Vision and Presence, curated by Semíramis González. The action took place on May 25 at half past five. The performance will be repeated soon at the Picasso Museum in Malaga.

  El miércoles participé con Verónica en otra performance. Te voy a mandar las fotos de los cuadros realizados por mujeres que se trabajaron. Nosotras tomábamos la posición de los cuadros. Nos guiaba la acción un cuenco tibetano. La que nos guiaba decía el nombre de las artistas y nosotras íbamos repitiendo el nombre de la pintora como un mantra en el desplazamiento por el museo. Cuando llegábamos al lugar, ella contaba cositas sobre la persona y su obra, y nosotras tomábamos la posición de las figuras del cuadro.
 La performance empieza con el cuadro de Tita y termina con nuestro puño alzado, lo demás
 recorrido...

 Claiming the rights of women from the age of 40. It is no longer a vase of flowers of the day, nor a container of life, nor a body without props, nor a repetition doll. We claim our right to age with dignity outside of misogynistic criticism of our body and our sexuality.

 Reivindicando los derechos de la mujer a partir de los 40. Ya no es un florero de flores del día, ni un contenedor de vida, ni un cuerpo sin apuntalamientos, ni una muñeca de repetición. Reivindicamos nuestro derecho a envejecer con dignidad fuera de críticas misógenas a nuestro cuerpo y nuestra sexualidad.
